    • Spooky the Cat Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

    In this video, we’re gonna get together and learn how to paint a cute and spooky cat with his spider friend. This is a good lesson for beginners and even little Art Monsters!

    I’m painting on a 12×16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

    I used:
    • A 1-inch flat brush
    • A firm 1/2-inch flat brush
    • A 1/2-inch angle brush (optional)
    • A 1/8-inch flat brush
    • A 1/4-inch flat brush
    • A small liner brush

    I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
    • Primary Yellow
    • Phthalocyanine Green
    • Phthalocyanine Blue
    • Titanium White
    • Burnt Umber
    • Mars Black
    • Prism Violet
    But you can use any colors you like.
